Standing strong after more than a decade in the construction industry is Moseng Project Pte Ltd. led by Philip Lim. Founded in 2000, Moseng begin its early years involved in painting contracts for residential and later, commercial properties. Starting with the team of four, Mr Philip Lim strived steadily for the next few years, building up a reputation for quality of workmanship and timely delivery.
With this foundation, the team at Moseng delved into renovation in 2005, part of its plan to expand in the construction scene. A year later, a bold move saw the team embark on residential A&A (addition and alteration) works. Reconstruction and new erection of private residences – semi-detached,l terraced and bungalow houses, was the mainstay of Moseng during the later years. As a builder, this phase also saw increase in staff size, scope of works and expertise.
Alongside this steady growth, Moseng Projects Pte Ltd has picked up more than its fair share of professional accreditations. These include registration with BCA under the category of Building/CW01 C3and licensed as a General Certification, BizSAFE Star (WSHCouncil) and Singapore Business Quality Award (First Class). As a testament to its quality and safety management systems, these also under gird Moseng’s commitment to professional delivery of projects.
Sharing on his entrepreneurial journey, Mr Philip Lim says that responsibility, patience and willingness to go beyond the team to further progress.
On the success of Moseng Projects, he says that close knit teamwork and forging strong relationships with subcontractors have been keys in facilitating smooth daily operations. He also cites the generous credits terms extended by suppliers in good faith as being ‘really helpful’ for seeing Moseng through the key transitions.
As a builder today, Moseng sees a good balance of projects within residential (60 percent) and commercial (40 percent) sectors. The journey for excellence continues, with Mr Philip Lim making personal site visits and involved whole-hearted in each project – all in just over a decade’s worth of work.
